be mine? v-day package

Yay for Target's dollar section…

whipped up a simple valentine package full of sweet words and well, sweets.

< sweets for my sweetie >

(even though he won't eat any of them, he just doesn't haha)
But whats Valentines Day without a treat?

...i told him he could donate to the "investigator children fund" and all that mattered is he knew I was thinking of him and that I got more pictures of those kiddos eating their treats!

oh and, 3 months from today until italy.

happy loving!
xoxo

ps… miracle I squished all those treats into that skinny little box.

custom valentines

custom, they speak for themselves.

C H E E S E Y is always a must in my books, seriously it must be embraced! The dorkier/cheesier/mushier the better. ohhh i love, love month.

ps we got some of julia too, but she didn't like them and forbade me to post :(

for a little laugh:

I attended my assigned elementary school for the semester for the first time today, i'm working with 5th graders. I was in the library, helping three students take a timed test. The timer was going, and all was well until the librarian looked over and asked if we were taking a test? I told her we were… and she continued to get quite angry and ask that we all work at separate tables, and that we should have known that, and a spill of other lectures… so awkwardly after being scolded I asked the students to all find a different table and I would start their time over. As I was giving instructions the librarian gasped… and realized I wasn't a fifth grade student.

She apologized and told me we were just fine and to continue on, and we both felt a little awkward after that. come on, FIFTH grader??? I found it a bit ridiculous but maybe I should take a few years off, until I at least look older than 12 years old apparently.

life lately

According to my iPhone pics.

^Madison Kramer finished 12 months, one year of her mission! Yikes. (And Jenni just hit her 6 months!)

^remember how I said I started doing yoga again? well i have officially become addicted now! yay! When I can't make it into a class, (or don't want to pay for it) I'll look up routines on youtube and dim my lights… you betcha.

^A mango mtn. dew can do the soul good. (i said soul, not heart) at first I was a little upset about Swig going into Provo… because I felt like that was such a special treat that should only be enjoyed in St. G! Ya know… the easier access the less appreciative we'd all be of it? haha but I took it back realizing those sugar cookies and fountain drinks were tasty in any part of the state.

^aching, craving, and longing for summer. and weddings. or even just some sunshine. (is it possible for wedding attending to be a hobby? cause…)

^i can say with confidence that i no longer wheeze after my dash up three flights of stairs in my mad rush to be on time for class every day. i'm no pro gym-er by any means. but i'm working at relieving stress (which seems to come in abundance lately) and just getting fitter. to be honest i'm kind of waiting for some magical hot trainer to come whip my butt into shape…i'm too easy on myself. (maybe one will happen to appear in approx. 4 months??)

>>fyi I just consumed half a bag of a Large theatre popcorn… and it's way past my bedtime.

(sorry you'll only have to hear me complain about winter for a couple more months now)

the weekend went by too fast.
And why can't Weber have Tuesday off just like Davis School District? While my family got to continue snoozing-in all cozied up in big cabin blankets, I had to drag myself out of bed and drive down to Weber. For an early PE class. Yes, I am taking a PE class. Everyone feel bad for me. Oh trust me, I thought I had finally seen the last of those forever. But I guess the things we avoid the most will always find their way into our life until we just embrace it. (I have a bad feeling i'm going to get called as a girls-camp director some day :/ ) Tripping over obstacle courses, and throwing footballs into targets isn't actually that bad. Regardless of the fact that I was unfortunately programmed to screech every time I throw/catch/jump/etc. (it was embarrassing then, and it's embarrassing now. i'm such a girl.)
The weekend was good to me, and it seems like every trip back to reality is a bit more bitter.
am I quite 'in the swing of things' again yet? Hmm.. still working on it. (but i am working)
Growing up and making grown up decisions for your life is exciting! but it's also scary and a little overwhelming. all perfect ideas have their flaws and the solemn weight of responsibility. my hope is to be able to be happy. and I hope and pray that the decisions I make now will help me reach that goal. happy and helping others. wish me luck!

oh. and stay tuned! i'm starting to do yoga every night, and i'm in the experimental phase, trying to find a routine that works best for me! What better way to get out of a rut than a mind-clearing and uplifting endorphin replenisher. Right?
