day on willard

Been having an eventful SUMMER BREAK so far. and it's going way too fast!! I can't believe it's almost July! Jord at first was worried that I would get bored with my summer vacation and would run out of things to do after about a week and to be honest I was a little concerned myself ... but turns out there isn't enough time in each day!! I've kept myself so busy... and need more time to complete all the projects that i've started and have been thinking up. There are too many things I want to do! haha Plus making all this time to play! GAH! ;) life is rough. 

I inherited some furniture - a kitchen table and dresser - and got all ambitious with changing it up and refinishing it. Turns out... I don't know what i'm doing!! So with refinishing the table i've probably made every mistake and have had to start each step over and it's taking twice as long as I anticipated! It started out fun but is getting sort of frustrating. Plus my mom's poor garage has been my studio for the past week :/ My vision is great though.. so we'll see if it turns out!! 

I've been wanting to start an etsy business! Painting and crafting has been my passion for as long as I can remember, i've always loved getting inspired and sitting down with a canvas and some acrylics and making a little painting. After some family and friends have inquired me making some customs for them (mainly my mom lol) I thought... why not try to sell some of this stuff!! So... that's in the works. 

Jord and I also have a maybe-adventure coming up. We don't know too many details yet it's something we reallllly need to think and pray about. So i'm excited to see what we end up deciding and how it all folds out. Plus Grandma and Grandpa Anderson come home from their mission in August! YAYY!!!! but... we lose our house!! haha we've been spoiled rotten house sitting their beautiful home for the past year and have been on a tiresome hunt for a new crib. 

Anyway... we have some awesome bff neighbors who invited us boating up at Willard last week and Jord was NOT going to let us pass it up, even though I literally was in the middle of painting the legs on my table and had white paint all over my legs... we dropped it all to go have a good time! :) 

Such a hunk. I mean..... HEART EYES all day.

Cute little Jovie adopted her "rainbow extensions" from her barbie doll and was pretty excited about them.. so dang cute!!

Trying surfing for the first time!! Last year Jord had just broken his foot at the beginning of the summer and was in a cast/boot/crutches ALL summer so missed out on all his favorite activities!
But... he was right back it surfing behind the boat for the first time... and I watched. Of course.

Cute Kallie and Jaydon... she waited for him while he served an LDS mission in Chile! He's only been home a few weeks! So fun to watch them and remember all the feelings and how fun it is to first get them home! Bringing back all the feels!
