He's a daredevil, she's a whimp

He loves flag football and fly fishing,

she loves painting and shopping.

He's in school, she's working.

Both have big dreams!

Both love to travel.

Both love cafe rio, and to cuddle.

He eats nuts in his ice-cream, she eats cookie dough in hers. 

She reads novels, he reads business books (boring.)

She teaches, he trains. 

She only picks up weights twice a year... he doesn't pick up weights only twice a year. 

She likes taking pictures.. of everything. He... doesn't but loves her anyway. 

He picks imagine dragons, she picks taylor swift. 

He's sails the ocean waves, she chills on the beach. 

Both dislike running. 

 one year of marriage. i said before it's like you start planning for a wedding and life gets so busy and fun and then you get married... and it never slows down and here we are a year later! jord and i reflect all the time how of all the people in the world... we found each other & chose each other & love it. i love being married to jordy, all our differences and disagreements and all - we were meant to be. :) I believe in soul mates!

boondocks fun

I had gotten a sub for my class on friday for some plans that fell through... so with the day off jord and I took our niece and nephew who are visiting from Arizona for Thanksgiving to Boondocks!  We got a ton of tokens and took turns picking the game to play, rode the go-carts (and froze to death), ate dip n' dots, and won about $5 worth of silly prizes for $40 ;) We get sad that we don't get to see our family as much as we'd like so it was fun to spend some time with these little cuties :) 

ps short weeks are the best thing to ever happen. Just gotta get through tomorrow and i can't wait for my muuuuuuch needed break from my sweet third graders. :)

our lyyyyfe lately

so this is a super busy stage of life for the both of us right now. 

my first of year of teaching has pretty much taken over my life! haha it's so much work! And jordan is going to school full time and working pretty much full time and has homework and so there is always something taking up our time! But amidst the business we do try to find time to spend with each other and try to have that balance of some good fun :) so here are some of the few fun things we've been up to lately. 

We helped film a kick-starter commercial for "Klymit" featuring their new Splah 25 bag!! It's pretty rad! But we filmed this in October. Jord had to fly fish.. and I don't know how I got nominated to raft down the river!! IT WAS FREEZING. Jordan was so confused because when the videographer started telling me what I need to do jordan was like... oh there is no way she is going to do this. haha but I took my shoes off and started walking up the freezing river and got soaking wet in the raft and filmed it like five times!!! It definitely was a little out of my comfort zone.. hey do it for the camera right? ;) We also got to go paddle boarding... which was also way fun but freezing. Both of our feet were totally numb by the end of this.

Gosh. He's a babe. Sunday is our day to see our families! Getting invited to sunday dinners the best... if it's saturday night and neither one of our families have invited us over yet we literally start panicking wondering what we are going to do!! haha so silly, but we love family sunday dinners. 

Wedding crashing!! jk we were totally invited. I love fall weddings now more than anything! I may be slightly biased. ;) 

So we go to the grocery store... spend a million dollars and load up with food for our meals that we've planned out.. and then...... find ourselves at IN N' Out, or Wendys, or cafe rio... gosh dang it. 

Both being busy full time makes it difficult to cook as much as we'd like so whaddya do. 

So for my birthday... yes back in August... Jordy surprised me with tickets to go to "Paint Nite!" We kept having things come up so just BARELY got around to scheduling a night and going! It was so much fun!! Definitely a way thoughtful present cause jord knows how much I love to paint, and especially for him to come enjoy my hobby with me! (Wow just now feeling guilty for ditching out on his flag football game this morning :/ ) But anyway it was super fun drinking our root beer at the bar and getting a paint lesson. 

halloween post in november

jordy and i had a plethora of halloween costumes this year... couldn't just stick with one ;)

The teacher and school boy went to Jordan's dad's annual halloween band party. So much fun! 

HE'S SO CUTE. Like I was obsessed with him all night... hahaha. i'm a weird wife.

The friday before halloween we had some friends come over for a halloween dinner-and games  costume party... we decided it would be pretty funny if the old people threw a party! ;) 

Jord found these outfits at savers and I DIED. We looked hilarious. Every time I looked at him all night or saw my reflection it freaked me out!! haha we legit looked old. At least now I know he'll still be a super handsome old man. :)

witchpalooza

Is it just me... or are the trees nooooot quite as orange/yellow/red as they should be at this time of year? :( if it weren't for the 209834 pumpkins in my house I probably wouldn't know it was fall ;) 

my cute fam went on a girls trip out to gardner village for their annual witchpalooza festivities. I'm so lucky to have such a fun mom and sisters so close, I seriously do not know what I would do without my bestest friends. PS we really miss julia. here's to HALF WAY.
